Yeah it's good isn't it, I get a lot of heckling for liking that film but it's funny and touching, I really enjoyed it. Additionally I couldn't endorse Scarlet Johansson to any greater level if I was being paid to, she is a "top fitter" .
Good call Andy.
On the subject of good films, check out "Old Boy" next time you are in Blockbusters, it's about a man who gets abducted for seemingly no reason and locked in a mysterious room for 15 years with no visitors and all his food passed in through the door.
Finally one day he is released, also without explanation, and given a gun, some money and a mobile phone with which to start his revenge mission. It's got some really gruesome moments, some mental twists and really interesting characters. just ignore the subtitles.

I dont think any one should be heckled for seeing Lost in Translation. It is truely brail of the highest order. It reminded me of Amsterdam, when we met randoms (at the time they were) in a random place and having the time of my life. (For those that care about my little story there). What language is Old Boy in Samuel. It sounds quite a cheeky little idea of a film.

I can't endorse Old Boy enough. Lost In Translation however, I didn't rate that much. Found it a bit dull, but each to their own I suppose. But yeah, Old Boy's one of the best films i've ever seen.
Also, back in Fax wi Salena tonight if anybody's about and wants to go out for a few pintas? Back fur't weekend but Saturday's like a family do. Will prolly give Fungal a little afternoon call too.

I have sent a little package out to Deyne Avenue today Spinds, so if youre calling in to Fungal, there's no need to purchase any local band related rekkids. Sammy T, you will also get a package fairly soon.

Good shit. Cheers Drakes. I'll probably still call in anyway. It is one of the highlights of the Halifax area on a Saturday afternoon, just beating Home Bargains and Cut Price Charlies.

Are you sure anything can beat Cut-Price Charlies though Doggle. I dont think it can be beaten. Its the only reason I live in Halifax really, so I can be really near to the shop of my dreams.

sounds a bit like The Trial that film, is there a film of The Trial? except he gets to go on a rampage rather than hired goons doing him in in a quarry. i know which i'd prefer.

No shop can beat Lidl for the Spindle-Doggle. He's like a living advert for Rusholme's student endorsed supermarket. "Better than Aldi" "Lidl pasta sauce- Better than Dolmio" "Haven't you been to Lidl yet, J.Mitch?" You heard it here first, kids.
Yeah, I'm going to jump on the recommendation train with Old Boy too. It's a fan-tas-tic movie. I did like 'Lost In Translation', but I also thought that it was a tad bit over-rated. Brilliant acting, great soundtrack, top-notch directing work... but it's all just a little bit dull when you get into it.

Hmm, what context was that used in? Did it involve a cigarette? Where are you these days anyway Sampson? Lodged between the T.V and a sunday roy-ist?

Old boy yammers away in Korean, but the subtitles are nice and easy to follow and it's worth seeing subtitles or not. Yeah i recieved my CD on saturday and i'm endorsing it heartily,is there a tracklisting as i don't know the names... Check out 'Audition', also in blockbuster, for some really demented jap horror/thriller madness

sounds a bit like The Trial that film, is there a film of The Trial? . Why yes there has. It was directed and starring none other than Orson Welles, legendary director of the buff favourite yet mercilessly dull "Citizen Kane". Speaking of which, anybody see the irony, or at least connection that the lead charecters name in that film is Charlie Kane, and hes a power mad Ego-maniac who really just wants and craves a Mothers love?
