Anyroad Keesey, I think that if I had met her, there'd have been tea, records and spoons offered.
Ah. The J.Mitch needs to brush up on his chat up lines.
'Do you come here often?' 'No. I'm from Denmark'.

Yes it was. The girl that I actually offered that to politely declined. It was just something that came out.
Can you imagine what it would have been like if she'd have gone round to my place, only to be offered kitchen untensils?

Saw 'Dead Mans Shoes' the other day. Its absolute quality. The best British film for a very long time, and puts to shame the crap cockney gangster genre that dominates this country's film industry. I would recommend this film, however, to everyone who has ever even harboured thoughts of revenge...that'll be everyone then

Go and see 'Hotel Rwanda' if you fancy some guilt-trips about being a former colonial power and not helping people in the third world. Its really good despite the guilt blast, quite an uplifting ending as well

Saw Mulholland Drive for the first time last night. One of the best films I've seen in ages for many many many reasons. Better than the film istelf is the challenge of trying to work out what the fuck actually happens-tho I think I've got a good idea now
For those brewers that liked Spirited Away, check out 'The Cat Returns' by the same studio, saw it in cinema last week-its not as well animated but its equally surreal, with the usual heartwarmer of an ending.
Other recent stunners have been "All the Presidents Men" and classic 80's kid film/anti-nuclear war/festival of unsubtle metaphors "War Games" which was on Channel 4 yesterday.

Quality film this, although it does look kind of geeky, but with songs such as "Aids Aids Aids" and "Montage", it pulls it off a treat.

"i'll never use racism again!"
"if your straight or your gay, if your white or a spade, AIDS!!" "i promise you I'll never die!"
