he even gets the crowd involved with that Ribena!
i like those little skagheads he gets on stage to sing 'Splitting In Two' with him
another high point of the DVD are Burgess' shocking pair of Lee jeans!

is Splitting In Two a Chameleons song? What album is it on?
Yeh, the ginger guy hogs the mic though doesnt he?
the two guitarists in the band are brilliant, such different sounds, but they work so well.
it's got a few interviews and stuff on it too, but I havent had chance to watch them yet.

Has anyone seen 'The life Aquatic with Steve Zissou'? I liked it - was pretty funny.
Also Royal Tenenbaums was on this weekend and that was pretty good as well.
Anyone got any other recommendations at the mo?

Got Napoleon Dynamite out last nite. Thought it was pretty good. Not rip roaringly funny but the characters are pretty quality, and the humour is quite subtle. The best scenes are when Napoleon does a Barnoloid and runs away from things.
Definitely worth a rental . Reminded me of the old school 80's teen comedies. And we all know what Dave Preston would say to that: "Which isnt a bad thing"

Yeah thats a funny film. The best bit is where he throws an orange (i think??) at his uncles windscreen and when he chases him he is threatening him with another orange (??).
I like his phone manner as well - 'okbye'. That Mexican guy is so bland - he's more bland than the Chrissy Hirst - Rosie Barford debacle(sorry for the painful memories being dragged up tomcat...)

And did you notice that Napoleon's bird makes boondoggles? A subject very dear to a certain Mr Spindler's heart!
