Well to be honest, if not recod company, it could still be a novelty way of gaining kudos from critics and the critic lovin masses. Just not a big fan of novelty projects, especially when the lyrics suffer as a result. Still, it remains the second best thing i've heard his year. Actually, that's not much praise at all. Some of it is qual le te though.

This has inspired me, im gonna put that 8-track to some good use and record a series of concept albums about the various postal districts of Halifax. The first one will aptly be called "Pellon", with "Rye lane sets fire to spastics" as the lead single.

I wrote a concept album once, 'Two Sides of the Coin' about a twopence coin put into circulation in 1976, not long before the monetary troubles of the 1980s, and the decadent free spending 1990s that followed. The tracks all reflected the era and the owner. It remains my unfinished opus, and one day I hope to get it released.
And I tell you something for nothing 'Thunder, Lightning, Strike' by The Go! Team is pretty much the best new-ish album ive bought in a long while

well,uh,erm,i dunno,they're,err,all shit.
Gilded Palace Of Sin is your one stop shop for overrated Flying Burrito Bros Albums.if you're into americano country music you'll no doubt like it.
methinks your recent purchase of Howl has brought on this interest.
You'll probably like Sweetheart Of The Rodeo by The Byrds if you havent already got it.
im liking the word 'meatnormous'.it just smacks of the USA!
make sure to bring me back some Meatnormo Double Chocolatey Sugar Coated Sugary Chocsy Chocs Chocs while you're there, ive missed them.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Went to see The Fall at Sankeys Soap in Manchester last Sunday. Twas a brill old do. Mark E Smith is a living legend, and the closest thing we have left, in musical spirit terms, to Beefheart.
He spent roughly half the gig messing with his guitarist's amp, which caused him much consternation. Not many old tunes played, as he was touting the 'Fall Heads Roll' album still, but 'Mr Pharmacist' went down well during one of three encores

Sé Lest by Sigur Rós. It is highly fitting when you are walking around frost tinged Ogden.
